Not cooling Could be a failed thermostat, temperature sensor, fan motor or control board, or the compressor’s start components. We test before we replace anything.
Freezer icing up Heavy frost usually means a failing door seal or, on frost-free models, a fault in the defrost system such as the heater, sensor or timer.
Water in the bottom of the fridge Typically a blocked defrost drain. We clear it and look at why it blocked, so it doesn’t happen again next month.
Too cold, freezing food A thermostat or sensor reading wrongly, or an air damper stuck open, can freeze everything in the fridge section.
Noisy running Buzzing, clicking or grinding often comes from a fan motor or the compressor relay. Some noise is normal; we’ll tell you which kind yours is.
Split or loose door seals A damaged seal lets warm air in, makes the appliance work harder and causes frost. Replacement seals are available for most models.
