Booking, pricing and guarantees

Still not sure? Message us with a photo of the appliance’s rating label and a short description of the fault, and we’ll come back to you.

Which areas of London do you cover?

West London, including Ealing, Hanwell, Southall, Greenford, Perivale, Acton, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Fulham, Shepherd’s Bush, White City, Kensington, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Brentford, Isleworth and Hounslow, plus Park Royal. If you’re just outside these areas, get in touch and we’ll tell you if we can get to you.

Which appliances do you repair?

Washing machines and washer dryers, fridges and freezers, dishwashers, tumble dryers, ovens, range cookers and hobs. We work on freestanding and integrated models from all the major brands.

How much is the call-out charge?

Our call-out charge is £40. It covers the visit and a full diagnosis of the fault. You’ll get a clear quote for parts and labour before any repair work starts, and you’re free to say no.

Will I get a quote before you start?

Always. We explain what’s wrong, what it will cost to fix and whether we think it’s worth repairing. Nothing is done without your go-ahead.

Can you come out today?

Same-day and next-day appointments are often available, depending on the day’s bookings. Call early in the day for the best chance of a same-day slot.

What appointment times do you offer?

Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, in three slots: 9am to 12pm, 12pm to 3pm and 3pm to 6pm. We call you around 10 minutes before we arrive.

Can you usually fix it on the first visit?

Often, yes. Where we can, we bring commonly needed parts with us. If a part has to be ordered, it usually arrives within 2 to 4 working days, and the return visit carries no second call-out charge.

Is my repair guaranteed?

Yes. Parts we fit are guaranteed for 12 months against the same fault coming back. The guarantee doesn’t cover accidental damage, misuse or unrelated faults.

How can I pay?

By card, bank transfer or cash, once the work is complete.

Do I need to know the model number?

It isn’t essential, but it helps. The model and serial number are usually on a label inside the door, around the door rim or on the back of the appliance. With the model and a short description of the fault, we can often bring the right part on the first visit.

Do you charge for cancelling or rearranging?

No. We just ask that you let us know as early as you can, ideally 24 hours before your appointment, by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Should I repair or replace my appliance?

It depends on the appliance’s age, its condition and the fault. We’ll tell you what we’d do if it were ours. If a repair doesn’t make financial sense, we’ll say so rather than sell you one.

Are you connected to the manufacturers?

No. We’re an independent repair service, so we can work on any brand and give you an impartial opinion. We’ll tell you which parts are available for your model, including manufacturer-original parts if you prefer them.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

Just make sure we can get to the appliance, and let us know about parking or building access when you book. If the appliance is integrated, there’s no need to pull it out; we’ll do that.
