Plain English, no small print. Last updated October 2026.
LDN Appliance Care (“we”, “us”) provides domestic appliance repairs in West London. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about anything in it at hello@ldnappliancecare.co.uk or on 07700 900000.
When you book or ask about a repair, by phone, WhatsApp, email or the booking form on this website, we collect:
When you send a booking request through the form on this website, the details you enter are emailed to us and kept in the website’s secure admin area so we can arrange your repair. If you choose “Send via WhatsApp” instead, the form prepares a WhatsApp message and nothing is stored on the website.
We do not use your information for marketing, and we never sell it.
Only where needed to deliver your repair: for example, a parts supplier (appliance model only), our bank or payment provider when you pay, and our accountant. WhatsApp and email providers process messages you send us under their own privacy policies.
This website does not set cookies for visitors, and uses no advertising trackers or analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. To help stop spam, the booking form keeps a scrambled copy of each request’s IP address for one hour, after which it is deleted automatically.
We keep booking and job records for as long as your guarantee applies and then for up to six years, which is what UK tax rules generally require for financial records. Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking, including booking requests sent through this website, are deleted within 12 months.
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it transferred to you or another organisation. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
