West London
The terms that apply when you book a repair with us. Last updated October 2026.
LDN Appliance Care repairs domestic appliances in customers’ homes across West London, including washing machines, washer dryers, fridges, freezers, dishwashers, tumble dryers, ovens, range cookers and hobs. We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
You can book by phone, WhatsApp, email or through the booking request on this website. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date and time slot with you. Appointment slots are 9am–12pm, 12pm–3pm, 3pm–6pm, Monday to Saturday. We will call you around 10 minutes before we arrive.
A call-out charge of £40 applies to every visit and covers attendance and diagnosis of the fault. After diagnosis we will give you a quote for parts and labour. No repair work is carried out without your agreement. If you decide not to go ahead, only the call-out charge is payable.
If parts need to be ordered, we will arrange a return visit once they arrive. No further call-out charge is made for that return visit.
Parts usually arrive within 2 to 4 working days. Some parts take longer, and occasionally a manufacturer may have discontinued a part. We will keep you informed.
Payment is due on completion of the work, by card, bank transfer or cash. Parts ordered specially for your appliance may require payment in advance; we will always tell you before ordering.
There is no fee for cancelling or rearranging an appointment. Please give us as much notice as possible, ideally at least 24 hours, by phone, WhatsApp or email. If we arrive at the agreed time and cannot get access to the property or the appliance, the call-out charge may apply.
If you book with us by phone, online or by message, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to visit within that period, you agree to pay for any work carried out before you cancel.
Parts we supply and fit are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of the repair against the same fault recurring. If the same fault returns within that time, we will return and put it right at no further cost. The guarantee does not cover:
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for losses not caused by our work, such as food that spoils because of the original fault in a fridge or freezer, or water damage elsewhere in the property that our work did not cause. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
If, after diagnosis, we believe a repair is not economical or an appliance is unsafe to use, we will tell you. If an appliance is dangerous, we may advise you to disconnect it and stop using it.
Work on gas appliances must, by law, be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We will tell you if your fault requires one.
If you are not happy with any part of our service, please contact us at hello@ldnappliancecare.co.uk or on 07700 900000. We will do our best to put things right quickly.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
